Fruits of the Quran


Al-Ra'd (The Thunder)

And in the earth there are tracts side by side and gardens of grapes and corn and palm trees having one root and (others) having distinct roots� they are watered with one water, and We make some of them excel others in fruit; There are Signs in that for people who use their intellect. (Verse 4)

Al-Rahman (The Lord of Mercy)

In it are fruits and date-palms with covered spathes. (Verse 11)



Al-Nahl (The Bee)

And by it He makes crops grow for you and olives and dates and grapes and fruit of every kind. There is certainly a Sign in that for people who reflect. (Verse 11)

From the fruits of date palms and grapes you take sweet juice and wholesome provisions. There truly is a sign in this for people who use their reason. (Verse 67)

Al-Mu'minun (The believers)

By means of it We produced gardens of dates and grapes for you, in which there are many fruits for you and from which you eat. (Verse19)

Maryam (Mary)

The pains of labour drove her to the trunk of a date-palm. She said, 'Oh if only I had died before this time and was something discarded and forgotten!' A voice called out to her from under her, 'Do not grieve! Your Lord has placed a small stream at your feet. Shake the trunk of the palm towards you and fresh, ripe dates will drop down onto you. (Verse 23-25)

'Abasa (He Frowned)

Let man consider the food he eats! We pour down abundant water and cause the soil to split open. We make grains grow, and vines, fresh vegetation, olive trees and date palms, luscious gardens, fruits and fodder: all for you and your livestock to enjoy. (Verse 29)

Al-Shu 'ara' (The Poets)

Do you think you will be left secure forever in what you have here: gardens, springs, fields and palms trees laden with fruit? (Verse 146 - 148)

Ya Sin (Ya Sin)

We place gardens of dates and grapes in the earth and cause springs of water to gush out of it. (Verse 34)

Al-Kahf (The Cave)

Make an example for them of two men. To one of them We gave two gardens of grape-vines and surrounded them with date-palms, putting between them some cultivated land. We made a stream flow through them, and so he had abundant fruit. (Verse 32-34)

Al-Nahl (The Bee)

And from the fruit of the date-palm and the grape-vine you derive both intoxicants and wholesome provision. There is certainly a Sign in that for people who use their intellect. (Verse 67)

Al-Isra' (The Night Journey)

They say, 'We will not believe you until you make a spring gush out from the earth for us; or have a garden of dates and grapes which you make rivers come pouring through; (Verse 90-91)

Al-An'am (The Livestock)

and he it is who produces gardens (of vine), trellised and untrellised, and palms and seed-produce of which the fruits are of various sorts, and olives and pomegranates, like and unlike; eat of its fruit when it bears fruit, and pay the due of it on the day of its reaping, and do not act extravagantly; surely he does not love the extravagant. (Verse 141)

Al-An'am (The Livestock)

From the date palm comes clusters of low-hanging dates, and there are gardens of vines, olives, and pomegranates, alike yet different. Watch their fruits as they grow and ripen! In all this there are signs for those who believe. (Verse 99)

Al-Waqi'a (That which is coming )

They will swell amid thornless lote trees and banana trees (with fruits), one above another and extended shade and water flowing constantly, and abundant fruit, neither intercepted nor forbidden. (Verse 23-33)

Al-Tin (The Fig)

By the fig and the olive, by Mount Sinai and this safe country (Mecca)! We created man in the finest state. (Verse 1-4)
